Urgent: Police Hunt for Suspects in Huron-Kinloss Break-In
URGENT UPDATE: The South Bruce OPP are actively seeking suspects involved in a brazen overnight break-in at a rural business along Bruce Road 1 in Huron-Kinloss. Police were dispatched to the scene following a break-in report received on August 2, where they discovered that a storage shed had been unlawfully entered.
Authorities confirmed that approximately $1,000 worth of food and drink items were stolen during the incident. Surveillance footage captured images of the suspects, who were seen wearing skull masks, gloves, and headlamps—heightening the urgency of their identification.
Two individuals arrived at the scene on an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) with a small utility trailer attached. Police have released detailed descriptions of the suspects to aid in their capture. One suspect is described as having a slim build, tall stature, and was clad in a light-coloured hoodie and jacket, a skull mask, a headlamp, and gloves. The second suspect, also slim but shorter, had their face partially covered and wore a white zip-up hoodie with the hood up, dark jogging pants, and a backpack.
The South Bruce OPP are urging anyone with information regarding this crime to come forward by calling 1-888-310-1122. For those who prefer to remain anonymous, they can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a secure web tip at www.cstip.ca, where they may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
