Whitemud Music Festival Returns for Thrilling Third Edition

The Whitemud Music Festival is set to make its highly anticipated return, taking place on August 22 and 23, 2025, at the Lansdowne Centennial Park in Arden, Manitoba. This marks the festival’s third annual event, following two successful years that have garnered significant community support. The organizing committee expresses gratitude to attendees and looks forward to welcoming everyone back for another unforgettable weekend.
With free camping included with each festival pass, attendees can enjoy a full weekend of music, food, and camaraderie. A variety of food trucks will be available on-site, ensuring that festival-goers experience not only excellent performances but also delicious culinary offerings.
Exciting Lineup Features Diverse Artists
The festival promises an eclectic mix of talent across its two-day lineup. The festivities kick off on Friday night at 19:00 with a performance by the local favorite, The Whitemud Blues Band. This will be followed by the vibrant sounds of The Flesh Monkeys, a band hailing from Winnipeg. The highlight of the evening will be a much-anticipated three-hour set by The B34st, a high-energy act from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, known for keeping the crowd engaged and lively.
Saturday’s events start at 12:00 with a performance by Manitoba’s own Mandy Ducharme & The Absolute B’s. Following them will be country artist Dan Lussier from Minnedosa, showcasing a selection of popular country songs. At 16:00, the crowd can look forward to a set by J4K (Just 4 Kicks) from Brandon, followed by DB & the Deadbeats, who will perform a blend of blues and rock.
The festival will conclude with three tribute acts that promise to captivate audiences. Hip 2B Square will kick off the tribute performances with their take on the songs of Huey Lewis and the News. They will be followed by Ramble Tamble, performing classic tracks from Creedence Clearwater Revival. The festival will close with The Main Street Exiles, who will deliver a tribute to the legendary The Rolling Stones.
Supporting a Worthy Cause
In an effort to give back to the community, the Whitemud Music Festival will donate a portion of its proceeds to charity each year. This year, the organizing committee has chosen to support Juvenile Diabetes, highlighting their commitment to social responsibility alongside entertainment.
