BREAKING: Calgary’s unique mobile music venue, The Littlest Honky Tonk, has just collaborated with country superstar Post Malone at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Utah. This exciting partnership, sparked by the artist’s management after viewing the venue’s popular YouTube series, highlights a remarkable fusion of grassroots country music and mainstream success.

The Littlest Honky Tonk, a converted horse trailer owned by Calgary couple Laura and Boots Graham, made waves in June as it pulled into the iconic stadium, where Malone performed. “We pulled the truck and trailer into the stadium and then his band, I think seven of them crammed in,” Boots Graham recalled, clearly thrilled by the experience. “It’s pretty incredible.”

This collaboration is not just a performance; it’s a testament to the genuine love for the country genre that the Grahams embody. Boots added, “He is a mainstream artist, he has so much production on his work. We have one microphone; it’s a very simple setup in here, so you get to hear what he actually sounds like.”

The Littlest Honky Tonk also serves as a mini-museum packed with music memorabilia, from vintage posters to spurs and horseshoes. “It’s stuff we’re interested in or have always been interested in,” said Laura, whose enthusiasm for their western shop and country music museum is clearly infectious.

As their project gains traction, Laura noted, “As people know what we’re doing, they want to be a part of the project as well.” The couple dreams big, aiming to feature more country artists and even take their trailer to Nashville, possibly to the Grand Ole Opry. “The sky’s the limit,” Laura exclaimed. “Dolly Parton, here we come!”

In an exciting upcoming event, from September 3-7, The Littlest Honky Tonk will showcase musicians and performers at Spruce Meadows during the prestigious Masters horse show jumping tournament. This opportunity marks a significant moment for the venue and the couple, continuing their mission to celebrate country music in a unique and personal way.

Stay tuned for more updates on this extraordinary journey as Calgary’s Littlest Honky Tonk takes the country music scene by storm!
