Celebrating Canadian Innovation: The Walrus Talks Returns for 2025

The upcoming Walrus Talks Innovation Nation event is set to spotlight transformative Canadian research and innovation. Scheduled for November 26, 2025, at the Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa, the event will showcase how homegrown ideas are leading to real-world solutions across various sectors.

Attendees can expect a series of rapid-fire presentations from award-winning researchers and pioneering experts. Each speaker will have seven minutes to share their insights on how innovation is driving progress and creating tangible benefits for society. Event Details and Accessibility
The Walrus Talks Innovation Nation will take place on November 26, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. ET. General admission tickets are priced at $20, while student and senior tickets are available for $12. For those unable to attend in person, a live stream will be offered free of charge with prior registration.
In an effort to ensure inclusivity, the event organizers have committed to providing accessibility options. Live captioning will be available, and simultaneous French interpretation will also be offered.
