Harbour Air, a prominent seaplane airline, has announced an extensive expansion of its flight schedule, introducing new routes and increasing flight frequencies across British Columbia and beyond. By summer 2026, the airline plans to operate up to 200 daily flights serving 15 destinations. This expansion aims to enhance connectivity for travelers looking to explore coastal communities, delve into the beauty of Vancouver Island, or make the journey to Seattle.

Among the most notable additions is a new service connecting Vancouver to Campbell River, launching on July 6, 2026. The airline will also introduce flights to Ucluelet from Vancouver, commencing on June 25, 2026. In a significant move for cross-border travel, Harbour Air will offer direct flights between downtown Victoria and downtown Seattle starting on June 11, 2026.

For those seeking easier access to the West Coast surf, year-round wheeled flights to Tofino-Long Beach Airport are set to begin on October 27, 2025. Additionally, the airline plans to reinstate wheeled service between Vancouver and Victoria this fall. By summer 2026, the Vancouver-Seattle route will increase to two flights per day.

Seasonal services are also being adjusted. Flights from Vancouver to Sechelt will resume on June 26, 2026, with Sechelt to Nanaimo flights starting again on May 4, 2026. Meanwhile, Powell River will transition to a summer-only route beginning on April 2, 2026.

Harbour Air stated that this expansion is designed to make travel “easier, more flexible, and more connected than ever.” With an increase in destinations, seasonal options, and the introduction of wheeled aircraft for year-round service, the airline is positioning itself as a reliable option for exploring British Columbia’s coastlines and beyond.

Chris Fordyce, Chief Commercial Officer at Harbour Air, emphasized the company’s commitment to responding to customer needs: “We’re responding directly to what our guests and communities are asking for: more choice, more flexibility, and more reliable travel. By adding new routes, extending operating hours, and introducing wheeled services for the winter months, we’re making sure people can get where they need to be, whatever the reason.”

From salmon fishing in Campbell River to hiking the Wild Pacific Trail in Ucluelet or catching waves in Tofino, Harbour Air aims to facilitate travel so that passengers can spend less time on the road and more time enjoying the adventures awaiting them. The updated flight schedule for 2025/2026 is already available, with bookings now open for eager travelers.
