Kingston School of Art Moves to New Location at Providence Village

URGENT UPDATE: The Kingston School of Art (KSOA) is officially relocating to its new home at Providence Village, located at 1200 Princess St., later this month. This development comes after months of uncertainty following the decision to vacate their previous location at the corner of Princess St. and Victoria St.

KSOA’s move is significant for the community, as it will allow the arts hub to provide more accessible classrooms and dedicated spaces for its printmaking presses. The relocation also opens the door for exciting collaborations with other local organizations, including Girls Inc. Limestone, the H’art Centre, and the Independent Living Centre Kingston.

“This is just that perfect timing that you never get in working with non-profit organizations,” said KSOA board member Rob Hosier. “They came to us in the purest sense of community.” This sentiment underscores the importance of community support as KSOA prepares to enhance its offerings.
