The court’s decision came during a preliminary hearing held via Zoom on Wednesday morning, where Judge Jacquelyn D. Ackert presided. During this session, Dunbar’s attorney, Doug Lathe, waived the hearing, citing the need for a fitness evaluation based on discussions with his client and the circumstances of the case.
