Huawei Launches FreeBuds 7i with Advanced Noise Cancellation

Huawei has unveiled its latest wireless earbuds, the FreeBuds 7i, which promise a superior audio experience through enhanced noise cancellation and innovative audio features. This release is part of a broader product launch that includes the HUAWEI GT 6 Series, HUAWEI Watch Ultimate 2, and HUAWEI MatePad 12 X 2025, showcasing the company’s commitment to expanding its portfolio in the audio and wearable segments.
Intelligent Dynamic ANC and Spatial Audio Features
At the core of the FreeBuds 7i is the Intelligent Dynamic ANC 4.0 technology, designed to adapt swiftly to various environments. This feature aims to provide users with a quieter listening experience by integrating an ultra-large air vent that effectively absorbs and cancels out external sound waves. To accommodate different ear shapes and enhance noise isolation, the earbuds come with four different ear tip sizes.
Additionally, the FreeBuds 7i introduce an “unlimited” spatial audio capability, which is independent of the content being played. This allows listeners to enjoy a more immersive sound experience across a diverse range of music and video formats. The earbuds are equipped with an 11mm quad-magnet dynamic driver and have received Hi-Res audio certification, further underscoring their commitment to quality.
Advanced Call Features and Design
For voice calls, the FreeBuds 7i are outfitted with a bone conduction microphone, complemented by three high-performance acoustic microphones. This setup, along with an AI-driven call noise reduction algorithm, aims to ensure clarity even in environments with ambient noise levels reaching 90 dB, such as bustling subways or busy streets. A distinctive feature of these earbuds is the ability to manage calls with simple head gestures, allowing users to answer or reject calls with a nod or shake.
The design of the FreeBuds 7i showcases rounded curves and geometric contours, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit for extended wear. They are available in three colors: Pink, White, and Black, appealing to users who prioritize both aesthetics and functionality.
The FreeBuds 7i are currently available for pre-order through the Huawei Store. They are priced at £89.99 in the UK, with a limited-time launch coupon offering additional savings. Customers will also benefit from a one-year subscription to HUAWEI Loss Care, providing a 50% discount on replacement earbuds if they are lost.
With the introduction of the FreeBuds 7i, Huawei aims to solidify its place in the competitive audio market, catering to consumers seeking both advanced technology and stylish design.
