An open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the expansion of Northern Rehab Physical Therapy Specialists in Rochelle on September 18, 2023. The newly redesigned facility, located at 1211 Currency Court, Suite 1, allows the organization to enhance patient care and offer improved treatment environments.

Lead Physical Therapist Aaron Nevdal expressed gratitude towards the community during the event. “We’ve been in Rochelle for 24 years,” Nevdal said. “We’re invested in the community. We’re thankful to partner with the community for that length of time.” He emphasized that the expansion aims to provide a more contemporary space with a better view, enhancing the overall experience for their patients.

The ribbon-cutting was facilitated by the Rochelle Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the City of Rochelle. Several prominent figures spoke at the event, including Chamber Executive Director Tricia Herrera and Mayor John Bearrows. Herrera highlighted the significance of the expansion for patient care. “Tonight we want to celebrate this new location,” she stated. “This is a larger space to help service your patients better. We’re very excited.”

Bearrows acknowledged the commitment of Northern Rehab to the Rochelle community. He noted the supportive role the city and chamber played during the pandemic, helping local businesses navigate challenges through promotional efforts and grants. “Tricia is an amazing person to lead the chamber, and they provide exceptional leadership and growth for businesses,” Bearrows said.

The new facilities at Northern Rehab are expected to serve as a vital resource for the community, promoting health and wellness. With over two decades of service in Rochelle, Northern Rehab remains dedicated to its mission of enhancing the quality of life for its patients. The expansion is not only a testament to their success but also a reflection of their enduring commitment to the community they serve.

As the ribbon was cut, attendees celebrated a new chapter for Northern Rehab, one that promises to bring improved services to the residents of Rochelle.
