PocketBook Launches UK Digital Bookstore with 4.5 Million Titles

PocketBook has officially launched a new digital bookstore in the United Kingdom, aimed at enhancing its e-reader offerings. This initiative comes in response to the limited selection currently available on PocketBook’s line of e-readers, which has primarily featured royalty-free e-books and lesser-known authors. The new platform boasts an impressive catalogue of 4.5 million e-books and 90,000 audiobooks, including popular titles from the New York Times Bestseller List.
The PocketBook digital bookstore is directly integrated into PocketBook e-readers, allowing users to access the extensive library seamlessly. Additionally, it is accessible through an online platform at pocketbook.uk, where readers can purchase titles on a pay-per-download basis. This expansion is part of PocketBook’s strategy to provide a more comprehensive and user-friendly reading experience globally.
Commitment to User-Friendly Reading
By offering content protected by LCP DRM, PocketBook aims to ensure greater consumer flexibility and reduce barriers to access. This aligns with the company’s mission to make e-reading as user-friendly as possible. For those without a PocketBook e-reader, the content can also be purchased through the PocketBook Reader App available for both Android and iOS devices.
