TVO’s “Old Enough!” Season 2 Filming in Cambridge’s Hespeler Area
Production for the second season of TVO’s popular series, “Old Enough!”, will take place in the Hespeler area of Cambridge on Thursday. The filming, conducted by Blue Ant Studios, will focus on scenes featuring children engaging in outdoor activities, such as walking and playing.
The specific filming location will be along Callaway Drive, situated between Sharpe Avenue and Silverthorne Drive. The City of Cambridge has assured residents that there will be no disruption to vehicle or pedestrian traffic during the shoot, and only minimal noise is anticipated.
Production vehicles will be parked on the street from 12:00 to 18:00, and residents are encouraged to utilize their driveways for parking to minimize any inconvenience.
“Old Enough!” is adapted from a successful Japanese format created by Nippon TV, which showcases children aged three to five completing errands to demonstrate their independence. Blue Ant Studios is recognized for producing a variety of notable programs, including “Canada’s Drag Race,” “The Kids in the Hall: Comedy Punks,” and “Mr. Dressup: The Magic of Make-Believe.” They also hold licensing rights to the documentary “Stormy,” further highlighting their diverse portfolio.
As the filming day approaches, the community is invited to witness the production process of a series that has resonated with audiences for its heartwarming portrayal of childhood and growth.
