The Ruiz family lost everything in a fire that occurred on September 30, as confirmed by the Little Rock-Fox Fire Protection District. While all family members, including their dog, escaped unharmed, the house has been deemed a total loss, leaving them displaced.

Community member Ashley Karm expressed heartfelt support for the Ruiz family, highlighting their long history of kindness. “They have been incredibly supportive during our toughest times,” Karm stated. She recounted how the Ruiz family stood by her during her daughter’s cancer treatments, providing emotional and practical support, including organizing fundraisers.
