Toronto Hosts Blue Jays Watch Parties as World Series Approaches
The City of Toronto is preparing for an exciting weekend as it gears up to host Game 1 of the World Series on October 21, 2025. With tickets for the Blue Jays’ home games selling out rapidly, the city has announced plans for outdoor watch parties to accommodate fans unable to secure entry to the stadium.
Tickets for the World Series went on sale to the general public at 10:00 a.m. and were sold out within an hour. The lowest verified resale price for a Game 1 ticket on Ticketmaster reached an astonishing $1,843. Thousands of fans are currently waiting in online queues for tickets to Games 1, 2, 6, and 7, highlighting the fierce demand for this historic series.
For fans who cannot attend the games in person, Toronto will host free public viewing parties at Nathan Phillips Square during all Blue Jays home games in the World Series. Starting at 20:00, fans can enjoy live broadcasts of the games on a large screen, complemented by music from a live DJ and engaging Blue Jays trivia with prizes between innings.
