Duet Night Abyss Set for Global Release on October 28

Pan Studio has announced significant updates for its highly anticipated hybrid action fantasy RPG, Duet Night Abyss, which is set to launch globally on October 28, 2023. The game will be available on iOS, Android, and PC through the official launcher as well as the Epic Games Store.

As part of a special preview program, the studio revealed that it is removing the stamina system, which previously restricted player actions. This decision, along with a redesigned monetization model, aims to enhance the gameplay experience by making it entirely skill-driven. Players will now be able to fully engage in combat, exploration, and storytelling without facing financial barriers.

The gameplay of Duet Night Abyss blends hack and slash elements with third-person shooter mechanics. A unique dual weapon switch system allows players to seamlessly transition between melee and ranged combat. This launch version will also introduce refined action controls and mobility upgrades, including the one-tap Helix Leap, Grappling Hook, and Sprint features, which are no longer limited by stamina constraints.

In a notable departure from traditional gacha mechanics, all characters and weapons in Duet Night Abyss will be freely accessible within the game. This approach eliminates the use of star ratings or rarity tiers, allowing players to forge and enhance their gear through crafting. Additionally, an expanded dye customization system will enable players to recolor various parts of their characters, weapons, and accessories, facilitating unique personalizations.

A livestream event also premiered the official theme song, featuring collaboration with vocalist Amanda Achen, which is expected to add a cinematic flair to the game’s immersive world.
