Heidi Klum Unveils Stunning Medusa Costume for Halloween 2025
Heidi Klum showcased a remarkable transformation into Medusa for her annual Halloween celebration on October 31, 2025, in New York. Adorned with green scales and accessorized with live snakes, Klum embraced the mythological figure known for her hair of serpents and the ability to turn onlookers to stone.
Klum expressed her enthusiasm for the character, stating, “So I wanted to be really, really like a really ugly, ugly Medusa. And I feel like we nailed it — to the teeth,” while highlighting her dramatic fangs. Her husband, musician Tom Kaulitz, complemented her look by dressing as a man turned to stone, adding to the couple’s thematic attire.
The preparation for such an elaborate costume involved an impressive 10 hours of work, underscoring Klum’s commitment to the Halloween festivities. Reflecting on the tradition, she remarked that every moment spent on the costume was worthwhile, as she genuinely enjoys the event.
Klum is known for her extravagant Halloween costumes. In 2022, she gained viral attention for appearing in a unique worm costume, suspended on a fishing line. Over the years, her creative choices have included an 8-foot-tall Transformer, a werewolf from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” and Kali, the multi-armed Hindu goddess. Klum has mentioned that she begins planning her next costume immediately after her Halloween party concludes.
Celebrity Appearances and Festive Atmosphere
The event at the Hard Rock Hotel New York attracted numerous other celebrities, each showcasing their creative interpretations of Halloween. Darren Criss, painted green, arrived as Shrek, while Maye Musk embraced the villainous style of Cruella de Vil. Ariana Madix made a striking appearance as Lady Gaga, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of the celebration.
In a twist of fate, last year, both Klum and Janelle Monáe donned the same costume of E.T. for their respective parties. This year, Monáe hosted her own Halloween gathering, arriving as the Cat in the Hat. The actress and singer has turned the entire month into a series of Halloween-themed immersive experiences across the Los Angeles area, concluding with a festive gathering at her home in Studio City.
Monáe shared her thoughts on the significance of Halloween, stating, “Halloween gives context to what I already do every day. As an artist, I’m always transforming, world-building and inviting people to play in the worlds I create.”
This year’s Halloween celebration continues to highlight the unique blend of creativity and festive spirit that characterizes the holiday, with Klum leading the way in imaginative costume design. The ongoing tradition not only showcases individual artistry but also fosters a sense of community and celebration among fans and fellow artists alike.
