Air Canada has unveiled a new aircraft livery inspired by Disney’s upcoming film, Zootopia 2. The special design will adorn an Airbus A220, with the aircraft set to fly to various destinations including Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Los Angeles, New York, Denver, and Boston ahead of the film’s release on November 26, 2025.

The launch was announced on November 6, 2025, illustrating the airline’s commitment to its partnership with Disney. Air Canada’s Vice President of Brand, Andy Shibata, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “This special livery is an exciting addition to our broader Disney relationship. It reminds us that travel, like storytelling, is about imagination, connection, and a little bit of magic.”

Disney fans can look forward to seeing this unique livery in the skies, which features beloved characters from the movie. The film follows rookie police officers Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde as they solve a mystery in the vibrant city of Zootopia.

Quincy Kelman, Vice President of Marketing for Walt Disney Studios Canada, highlighted the significance of this partnership. “We’re thrilled to collaborate with Air Canada to bring the magic of ‘Zootopia 2’ to new heights—literally,” he said. Kelman emphasized that this collaboration celebrates the spirit of adventure inherent in both Disney and Air Canada.

In addition to this themed livery, Air Canada is offering its Aeroplan Members a chance to win one of two vacations to the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The prize includes round-trip flights with Air Canada, allowing families to enjoy the new Zootopia attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The contest is open to all Canadian residents who are Aeroplan members and will conclude on November 26, 2025.

This marks the third Disney movie-themed livery for Air Canada. In November 2023, the airline introduced a Boeing 787 Dreamliner featuring characters from Disney’s Wish, and in February 2022, an A220 livery showcased characters from Pixar’s Turning Red.

As Canada’s largest airline and a founding member of the Star Alliance, Air Canada operates scheduled services to over 180 airports worldwide. The airline is recognized for its commitment to sustainability, with a goal to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

With the excitement surrounding the release of Zootopia 2, Air Canada’s new livery not only enhances its brand visibility but also connects with a global audience eager for new adventures on screen and in the skies.
