Lethbridge Library Hosts Pre-Holiday Bag Sale on Nov. 22-23
The Friends of Lethbridge Public Library are set to host a pre-holiday bag sale, providing a unique opportunity for book lovers and families. On November 22 and November 23, 2023, the Main Branch Library will feature nearly 500 boxes of books, toys, DVDs, and CDs available for purchase.
The sale will take place at the library located on 5 Avenue South. Shoppers can fill a grocery bag with books and other items for just $5. For those seeking larger selections, oversized bags will be available at adjusted prices.
Funds raised from this event will directly support special projects, programming, and services for both branches of the Lethbridge Public Library. This initiative underscores the library’s commitment to enhancing community engagement through accessible literature and educational programs.
The sale is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on November 22 and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on November 23. The Friends of Lethbridge Public Library encourage local residents to take advantage of this opportunity to discover new titles while supporting their community library.
By participating in the bag sale, attendees not only gain access to a diverse range of reading materials but also contribute to the vital resources the library provides to the community. This event is designed for people of all ages, making it a perfect pre-holiday outing for families and book enthusiasts alike.
