Retired Teachers Gather for Meeting in DeKalb on November 11
The DeKalb County Retired Teachers Association will host a meeting for retired teachers on November 11, 2023. The event will take place at 11 a.m. in the Oak Crest dining room, located at 2944 Greenwood Acres, DeKalb.
Attendees will hear from Matt Stark, a dietician from Hy-Vee, who is the featured speaker for the month. His presentation will focus on nutrition topics relevant to the retired community. Following the meeting, a buffet will be served, with a cost of $19 per person.
Retired teachers are encouraged to participate in this gathering, which offers an opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and gather valuable information. To attend, registration is required by November 6. Interested individuals can register by calling 815-895-5494.
This meeting not only promotes social interaction among retired educators, but also aims to provide them with useful insights into health and wellness, reinforcing the association’s commitment to supporting its members.
