URGENT UPDATE: CAE Inc. is undergoing a significant transformation as new CEO Matthew Bromberg reveals crucial measures aimed at streamlining operations and controlling costs. Just announced, the company will eliminate the chief operating officer role and merge its commercial and business aviation training divisions into one unified unit.

Stepping into the role in August 2025, Bromberg emphasizes the need for efficiency, stating that the defence business will be condensed from three segments to two. This restructuring is part of Bromberg’s broader vision for CAE, which focuses on achieving “greater synergies” between its civil and defence sectors.

In a press release, CAE reported a remarkable 41 percent year-over-year increase in profits attributable to shareholders, reaching $73.9 million for the quarter ending September 30, 2025. Additionally, the company’s revenue surged by 9 percent, climbing to $1.24 billion compared to $1.14 billion during the same period last year.

On an adjusted basis, CAE’s earnings stood at 23 cents per share, surpassing analysts’ expectations of 20 cents per share, as reported by financial markets firm LSEG Data and Analytics. This positive financial outlook comes as the company aims to enhance operational efficiency through the newly created position of vice-president of operations.

“This transformation is critical for positioning CAE for future growth and maximizing our operational capabilities,” Bromberg stated.

As CAE navigates these changes, industry stakeholders and investors will be closely watching the implementation of these strategies and their impact on the company’s performance moving forward. The urgency of these developments highlights CAE’s commitment to adapting to market demands in a competitive environment.

With a focus on streamlining and efficiency, CAE is poised to redefine its business structure, paving the way for enhanced performance and profitability. Stay tuned for more updates as the situation develops.
