Sigma Lithium Corporation, a prominent global producer of lithium, has announced a significant increase in its financial performance for the third quarter of 2025. The company reported net revenues of US$28.5 million, marking a remarkable growth of 69% compared to the previous quarter and 36% year-on-year. This upward trend is attributed to effective partnerships with clients and a strategic approach to managing lithium pricing fluctuations.

The financial results reflect Sigma Lithium’s adeptness in navigating the volatile lithium market, allowing the company to realize gains during price variations. The firm generated US$24 million from final price settlements on sales completed by the end of the quarter, with an additional cash inflow of approximately US$4 million anticipated from further settlements.

Mining Operations and Future Outlook

As part of its operational strategy, Sigma Lithium plans to restart mining operations by the end of November 2025, aiming for full ramp-up by the first quarter of 2026. The company has made substantial upgrades to its mining equipment, doubling the capacity of trucks and excavators, and is transitioning to a fully digitalized control system for its operations. This upgrade follows the recent enhancements made to the Greentech industrial plant, which has consistently delivered recovery levels exceeding 70% since January 2025.

Looking ahead, Sigma Lithium is set to maximize its production capacity at the Greentech facility, targeting an annual output of 300,000 tonnes of lithium oxide. The company has taken control of its mining operations from previous contractors and is leasing equipment directly from manufacturers, funded through offtake agreements in Asia.

Financial Discipline and Improved Cash Position

In terms of liquidity, Sigma Lithium has seen a substantial improvement. As of September 30, 2025, the company reported cash and cash equivalents totaling US$6.1 million, in addition to US$20 million in trade receivables. By November 13, 2025, the company successfully converted trade receivables into US$21 million in cash, alongside an US$8 million increase in the value of settled trade receivables. This brings total available cash to US$29 million, significantly enhancing Sigma Lithium’s financial position compared to its peers.

Moreover, the company has focused on deleveraging, reducing its short-term trade finance debt by 38% to US$37 million as of September 30, 2025. Sigma Lithium aims to decrease this debt by an additional 60% by the end of November 2025, reinforcing its commitment to financial discipline.

Sigma Lithium’s third-quarter results illustrate its strong position in the lithium market and commitment to sustainable practices. The company operates one of the largest lithium production sites globally at its Grota do Cirilo Operation in Brazil, emphasizing environmentally and socially responsible lithium production.

The company will further discuss its financial results in a conference call scheduled for 8:30 a.m. ET on November 14, 2025. Interested parties can register for the call through Sigma Lithium’s investor relations website.
