Merrimack College secured a significant victory against Boston University, winning 91-79 on March 2, 2024. The standout performance came from Ernest Shelton, who scored an impressive 33 points, leading his team to this important win in Boston.

Shelton displayed remarkable shooting accuracy, hitting 10 of 13 attempts from the field. His exceptional three-point shooting was highlighted by a 9 for 12 record from beyond the arc, alongside a perfect 4 for 4 from the free-throw line. This victory improved Merrimack’s record to 1-3 for the season.

The Warriors received strong support from Kevair Kennedy, who contributed 16 points and showcased his versatility with 11 rebounds and eight assists. Andres Marrero also proved to be a key player, finishing the game with 14 points, including 4 for 5 from three-point range.

On the opposing side, Michael McNair led the Terriers with 21 points. Sam Hughes added 17 points and provided four assists, while Ben Defty contributed 16 points, along with nine rebounds and two blocks. Despite their efforts, Boston University fell to 2-2 for the season.
