Sauk Valley Chamber Invites Nominations for Champion Award
The Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the 12th annual Chamber Champion Award. This prestigious accolade recognizes individuals and groups that demonstrate remarkable leadership, community service, and a significant positive impact on the Sauk Valley region.
The Chamber Champion Award celebrates those who have shown exceptional dedication and vision in enhancing the quality of life in the Sauk Valley. Nominees should exemplify a commitment to the community, whether through professional achievements, volunteer efforts, or initiatives that strengthen local connections. Past recipients, who reflect the spirit of this award, include notable figures such as Tim McNinch, John Gvodjak, Matt Prescott, and organizations like Rock River Hospice and Home Board of Directors.
In order to nominate an individual or organization, submit a narrative detailing how the nominee has positively impacted the community. Specific examples of their contributions are encouraged and will enhance the nomination. Nominations can be completed online at bit.ly/3LejBNg or sent via email to [email protected]. Be sure to include both the nominee’s and the nominator’s contact information.
Nominations must be submitted by Friday, December 4, 2025. The award will be presented during the Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce annual meeting and dinner on January 29, 2026, at the McCormick Event Center.
