This third-annual festival is set against the backdrop of warmer weekend weather, making it the perfect day for families and friends to gather and celebrate. Quinn Phillips, EDBA marketing director, emphasized the festival’s importance in revitalizing downtown, stating, “This is really our opportunity to bring people downtown, create some vibrancy downtown, support our businesses downtown, and really kick off the holiday season.”

Winterval offers a festive atmosphere complete with lights, music, and unique photo opportunities featuring Santa’s sleigh and reindeer. Kids can enjoy street hockey, adding to the fun-filled activities designed to engage families. “This is kind of like our one big event of the winter season,” Phillips added.

As the sun sets, the downtown area will transform into a winter wonderland, drawing in more attendees eager to experience the holiday spirit. The EDBA has curated a full list of participating businesses available online, encouraging community support during this festive time.
