Yoplait Recalls Yop Yogurts Over Possible Plastic Contamination
Yoplait has announced a recall of its Yop drinkable yogurts across Canada due to concerns about the potential presence of plastic pieces in the bottles. The recall affects various flavors and packaging sizes, prompting consumers to check their purchases to ensure safety.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) issued a recall notice on March 15, 2024, stating that there have been no reported injuries related to the affected products. Customers are advised to refrain from consuming, serving, or distributing these yogurts and are encouraged to return them to the point of purchase for a refund.

The recall encompasses all Yop single 200 mL bottles and six-packs with a best before date of January 12, 2026, or earlier. Additionally, Yop 200 mL variety packs, including 15-packs and 12-packs, with a best before date up to January 3, 2026, are included in the recall. The specific flavors affected are:

Consumers who have purchased any of these products should carefully inspect their refrigerators and dispose of any recalled items.
