The family of Aileen Rickard has announced her passing at the age of 100, marking the end of a century filled with love and cherished memories. Aileen, who died peacefully, was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, leaving behind a legacy that touched many lives.

Born on 1925, Aileen was predeceased by her husband, Ivor Rickard. She was the mother of the late Bill Rickard and Lynn Rickard. Her family extends beyond her children, as she is survived by her grandchildren, Dulcie Rickard, Adam (married to Angelle), Liz Gibbons (married to Paul), and Heather Christine (married to Donny). Aileen also took immense joy in her role as a great-grandmother to Liam, Owen, Ava, Ginny, Kara, Evan, and Stark.

Family and Legacy

Aileen was the daughter of the late Harry and Annie McLean. She is survived by her brother, Tom (married to Bev), and was predeceased by her brothers Don, Ernie, and Doug, along with several in-laws including Roy, John, Harry, Inez, and Gerald. Aileen’s warmth and kindness were felt by everyone who met her, and she was deeply loved by her family and friends alike.
