Just For Laughs VANCOUVER Unveils Exciting 2026 Festival Lineup
The renowned Just For Laughs VANCOUVER festival has announced a vibrant lineup to celebrate its tenth anniversary in February 2026. Featuring over 100 shows and more than 250 comedians, the festival promises 11 days of diverse and entertaining performances across multiple venues in Metro Vancouver.
This year’s lineup includes established names alongside emerging talent, ensuring a broad appeal for audiences. Notable performers include James Acaster, Atsuko Okatsuka, Nimesh Patel, and comedy legend Yakov Smirnoff, who will take the stage at the York Theatre. The festival will also host alumni from Saturday Night Live, including Michael Longfellow and Emil Wakim, at the Rio Theatre.
Showcasing Local and International Talent
The festival’s venues include the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, the Vogue, Vancouver Playhouse, the Rio Theatre, and the House of Comedy. This expansive range reflects the festival’s commitment to both local acts and international stars. Among the local talents featured are (Please Don’t Sue Us), Buds and Suds Comedy, and the unique Drag Brunch with Dust Cwaine.
Festival Director Heather Wallace expressed enthusiasm for the growth of the event, stating, “From our local roots to becoming a highlight of the city’s cultural calendar, this festival has grown beyond anything I imagined.” The programming team, led by Nick Brazao, aims to highlight a mix of voices that resonate with Vancouver’s vibrant comedy community.

Wallace emphasized the festival’s importance in promoting diverse comedic expressions. “This year’s lineup showcases boundary-pushers, fan favourites, and emerging talent who reflect the energy and creativity of Vancouver’s comedy fans,” she noted.
