Pegasus Cheer Triumphs at Quebec Competition with Top Finishes
The cheerleading team from Pegasus Cheer in Belleville returned from their first competition of the season with notable achievements, securing multiple first-place finishes at the Adrenaline Championships held on November 29, 2025, in Montreal. Competing at the prestigious Palais des Congres de Montreal, the team showcased their skills and dedication.
Competing in the All Star Elite U12 Level 2 Non-Tumble category, the team known as Capricorn finished in first place. In addition, individual athlete Olivia Bilton garnered the top position in the U16 Level 3 category for ages 12 to 16. These successes mark a strong start to the season for the gym, reflecting the hard work and commitment of both athletes and coaches.
In her reflection on the competition, Olivia expressed her feelings about participating in her first cheerleading event. “After competing, I felt really good despite some nerves as it was my very first cheerleading competition. It reminded me to never give up on my goals and keep striving to get better,” she stated. Olivia emphasized the supportive atmosphere of the event, which helped her manage her fears.
The event was not only significant for the athletes but also for their families. Ashleigh Bilton, mother of Olivia, shared her excitement about attending the competition. “Our family was very excited to attend Adrenaline and watch Olivia and Capricorn represent Pegasus Cheer. We understand how hard the athletes, coaches, and every single person at the gym work to get ready for the season,” Ashleigh noted. “Being a part of all of that and seeing it come together filled us with so much pride for Olivia and the entire Pegasus Cheer gym. We look forward to continuing to cheer everyone on for the rest of the season!”
With a successful start to their competitive journey, Pegasus Cheer is poised for an exciting season ahead. For more information about their programs and upcoming events, visit their official website at https://zoneathletics.ca/cheerleading/.
