Patrick Dempsey’s ‘Memory of a Killer’ Shines on This Week’s Watch List
Television audiences are in for a treat this week as several highly anticipated shows and films make their debut. Leading the watch list is the gripping series ‘Memory of a Killer’, featuring Patrick Dempsey and Michael Imperioli. The show airs on Sunday and Monday on Fox and CTV, following a hitman whose life unravels upon discovering he has early onset Alzheimer’s.
New Series and Films to Check Out
Another notable premiere is the third season of ‘Shrinking’, starring Jason Segel and Harrison Ford. The show returns on Wednesday on Apple TV, where a therapist grapples with his own grief while candidly sharing his thoughts with clients, defying his boss’s advice.
On the film front, ‘The Wrecking Crew’ debuts on Wednesday on Prime Video. This drama features Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista as estranged half-brothers forced to reunite after their father’s mysterious death.

For those interested in romance, ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4, Part 1 will be available on Thursday on Netflix. This season centers on Benedict, played by Luke Thompson, who finds unexpected love at a masquerade ball.
Film enthusiasts can also catch ‘Missing the Boat’ on Saturday on W Network. This adventure stars Emilie Ullerup and Kristoffer Polaha as strangers who must team up after missing their cruise.
In a unique twist on reality TV, ‘Extracted’ airs on Monday on Fox and CTV. This competition allows families to influence the fate of their loved ones participating in a wilderness challenge by sending lifelines or choosing to “extract” them from the game.
Culinary competition returns with ‘Next Level Chef’, which premieres its fifth season on Thursday on Fox and CTV. The show features NFL reporter-turned-food influencer Elise Jesse alongside renowned chefs Gordon Ramsay, Nyesha Arrington, and Richard Blais. The winner will receive a grand prize of $250,000.
Meanwhile, the documentary ‘Take That’ showcases the rise and fall of one of the U.K.’s most iconic boy bands, featuring never-before-seen archival footage. It will be available on Tuesday on Netflix.
In a rare dramatic performance, Dwayne Johnson stars in ‘The Smashing Machine’, a biopic about UFC fighter Mark Kerr. The film explores Kerr’s journey and its impact on his personal life, co-starring Emily Blunt. The film streams on Friday on Paramount+.
Lastly, audiences can enjoy ‘The Running Man’, a dystopian thriller featuring Glen Powell as a desperate father participating in a deadly game show. Adapted from the 1981 Stephen King novel, it is now streaming on Paramount+.
