Suh’s father provided him with pivotal advice before his passing, urging him to embrace a new chapter in life. “It’s time to let football go. You’ve done everything you set out to do. Now it’s time for the next chapter,” Suh recalled. This poignant reminder has shaped Suh’s decision to retire from professional football.

During his time in the NFL, Suh played in 199 games across five teams, including the Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Rams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Philadelphia Eagles. His career statistics are impressive, with a total of 600 tackles, 71.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, and one interception. Suh was recognized for his talent, achieving three All-Pro selections and earning five Pro Bowl invitations.

One of the highlights of Suh’s career was winning the Super Bowl with the Buccaneers in 2021, where he contributed with two tackles and 1.5 sacks in the championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Notably, he became just the sixth player in NFL history to compete in the Super Bowl with three different franchises, showcasing his versatility and skill on the field.
