Canadian home-decor influencer and retailer Monika Hibbs has officially rebranded her business from Monika Hibbs Home to Acres Market & Interiors. This significant shift, announced recently, represents a new direction for Hibbs, who has built a strong community since launching her brand in 2011.

Acres Market & Interiors retains the essence of Hibbs’ aesthetic while expanding its offerings. The rebrand includes not only the online shop and physical storefront located at Thunderbird Show Park in Langley, Canada, but also integrates her husband Troy Hibbs‘ custom homebuilding company, Acres Estate Homes.

Evolution of a Brand

Hibbs shared insights into how her brand has evolved over the years. Starting as a blog that documented her design projects and family life, she opened her first retail store, Monika Hibbs Home, in 2019. This progression has culminated in the launch of Acres Market & Interiors, a name that Hibbs feels reflects the brand’s current trajectory and future goals.

Hibbs emphasized the importance of trust in her customer relationships. She stated, “Even though this is a rebrand, the foundation of quality, care, and customer connection remains.” The focus will continue to be on creating a unique and intentional customer experience that resonates with their audience.

Target Audience and Product Offerings

The new brand aims to attract a diverse clientele. Hibbs noted that their customers include young women furnishing first apartments, couples designing family homes, and anyone searching for unique gifts. “Our pieces come from artisans around the world — Peru, England, France, Italy, Guatemala, Vermont, and local Canadian makers,” she explained, highlighting the meaningful stories behind each product.

Among the standout items are the in-house brass dinner bells, available in multiple sizes and finishes, and the linen tea towels, which feature thoughtful designs. The price range is also broad, with items starting under $50 and extending to custom furniture pieces.

Customers can explore products both online and at their physical location at Thunderbird Show Park. The venue is particularly lively in the summer, hosting equestrian events alongside shopping opportunities. The store is positioned within Vendor Row, allowing visitors to experience the brand in person.

Hibbs expressed excitement about upcoming product launches, including custom upholstered furniture from Lee Industries, as well as handmade pottery from Farmhouse Pottery in Vermont and bespoke hardware from Armac Martin in England. New designs for their in-house MH wallpapers and textiles are also on the horizon, all maintaining the brand’s commitment to timeless and high-quality offerings.

As Hibbs embarks on this new chapter with Acres Market & Interiors, she remains focused on providing products that are not only beautiful but also crafted with care and intention, reflecting her journey and the values she holds dear.
