Newly uncovered video footage and photographs have brought to light additional details about Donald Trump‘s past relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. The images, originating from 1993, confirm that Epstein attended Trump’s wedding to Marla Maples, a fact that had not been widely reported until now. The wedding took place at the Plaza Hotel in New York City, suggesting a closer connection between the two than previously acknowledged.

Footage reviewed by CNN’s KFile shows Trump and Epstein socializing at a runway event, laughing and chatting together. This archival material, which predates any known legal troubles for Epstein, has sparked renewed scrutiny of Trump’s associations with the late financier. The recent decision by the U.S. Justice Department not to release files related to Epstein has further fueled speculation among some supporters of Trump, who anticipated significant revelations regarding Epstein’s alleged co-conspirators.

In a brief conversation with CNN regarding the wedding photos, Trump reacted dismissively, stating, “You’ve got to be kidding me,” before labeling CNN as “fake news” and ending the call. White House Communications Director Steven Cheung defended Trump, characterizing the images as “out-of-context frame grabs” and asserting that they have been manipulated to imply wrongdoing. He added, “The fact is that the President kicked him out of his club for being a creep.”

Allegations of Epstein’s sexual abuse of underage girls first emerged in 2005, leading to his arrest in 2006. Epstein faced additional charges in 2019 related to federal sex trafficking before his death in jail, which was ruled a suicide by hanging. Trump’s interactions with Epstein date back to the 1980s, featuring their appearances at various social events in Palm Beach and New York.

While no law enforcement authorities have implicated Trump in connection to Epstein’s crimes, the two had a public dispute in the mid-2000s over a real estate deal. Archived footage from 1992 shows Trump mingling with Epstein at a party, and a series of photographs from 1993 depict them together at the opening of the Harley Davidson Cafe in New York. Photographer Dafydd Jones, who captured images at both events, recalled Epstein introducing himself as a financial advisor.

Jones noted that he only took select photos of attendees he found noteworthy at Trump’s wedding, but he did manage to capture Epstein entering the event. “I wish now I took more of him with Trump,” he remarked. A recent review of LIFE magazine’s collection also revealed images of Epstein smiling among wedding guests, including media personalities such as Howard Stern.

The connection between Trump and Epstein extends beyond social gatherings. Photos from 1997 show both men attending a Victoria’s Secret fashion show, highlighting Epstein’s ties to Leslie Wexner, the billionaire founder of the company’s parent firm. Epstein managed Wexner’s finances for several years before their relationship soured, with Wexner later claiming he was unaware of Epstein’s alleged criminal activities during their association.

In a 2002 interview with New York Magazine, Trump described Epstein as “a terrific guy,” noting their long-standing friendship. He remarked, “It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.” Trump has also been linked to Epstein through flight logs, which indicate he traveled on Epstein’s private jets.

In his 2004 book, “Trump: How To Get Rich,” Trump referenced a character he called “the mysterious Jeffrey,” suggesting a close familiarity. The White House did not address whether this character was Epstein.

Moreover, images from the Palm Beach Post show Trump socializing with Epstein’s associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking. Trump’s name also surfaced in a recent birthday message sent to Epstein for his 50th birthday in 2003, which allegedly included a suggestive drawing and a note wishing Epstein well.

Following these revelations, the Trump administration has committed to releasing grand jury materials connected to Epstein. A federal judge overseeing Maxwell’s case has set a deadline for the Justice Department to provide relevant information. The Department of Justice has also reached out to Maxwell’s legal team for discussions amid backlash over its handling of Epstein-related files. Maxwell’s attorney expressed confidence in her willingness to testify truthfully.

Trump has denied authorship of the controversial birthday message and subsequently filed a libel lawsuit against the newspaper that reported on it. As investigations continue, the unfolding narrative surrounding Trump and Epstein remains a focal point of public interest and speculation.
