Urgent: 3 Youths, 2 Adults Charged in Toronto Firearm Case

BREAKING: Authorities have charged three youths and two adults following a firearm investigation in Toronto’s east-end. The incident unfolded just before midnight on July 5, 2025, near Coxwell Avenue and Gerrard Street East, when a vehicle allegedly opened fire on a group of people on the street.
Witnesses reported a chaotic scene where gunfire erupted, although fortunately, no injuries were reported. However, property damage occurred, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.
On July 18, Toronto police identified and arrested two male youths linked to the case, charging them with unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle. The investigation intensified, leading to a search warrant that uncovered two loaded semi-automatic handguns.
In a significant development, police apprehended one adult male, one adult female, and one female youth on multiple charges related to the firearms. Faebian Dos Santos, aged 19, faces six charges, including discharging a firearm with intent and possessing a firearm without a licence.
Another suspect, Kayleigh Williamson, aged 20, has been charged with possession of a loaded prohibited firearm and failing to comply with a release order. The female youth, protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, faces two charges, which include possession of a restricted firearm and possession of a firearm knowing its serial number has been tampered with.
As the investigation continues, authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. The community is on alert as police ramp up efforts to address gun violence in the area.
