Most of these highly-rated establishments are located in the Lower Mainland. Other standout locations include ATLAS Steak + Fish in Burnaby, The Courtney Room and Tea at The Empress in Victoria, as well as the Lakeside Dining Room — Hotel El Dorado in Kelowna and the Brickworks in Whistler.

This ranking comes at a time when 64 percent of Canadians view hotel restaurants as viable dining options for both tourists and residents, with 68 percent stating they would return to a hotel based on a positive dining experience.

Kate Williams, Chief Communications Officer at KAYAK, emphasized the changing landscape of travel, stating,

“Travellers aren’t just asking ‘Where should I go?’ – they’re asking ‘What’s on the menu when I get there?’”

This shift indicates that great dining experiences are now integral to travel plans, prompting hotels to enhance their culinary offerings.
