Kelowna’s Dragon Spirit Tai Chi Team Offers Free Classes Now

UPDATE: Kelowna residents can take advantage of free Tai Chi classes every Sunday this August, starting at 7:30 a.m. in City Park. This initiative follows the Dragon Spirit Tai Chi team winning gold at the 11th World Qigong Competition in Richmond from July 21-27.
The team, eager to share their expertise, has partnered with the OCCA Communities Association to engage the community. Classes are designed for all ages and skill levels, with no prior registration necessary. Participants will learn gentle Tai Chi movements and essential breathing techniques in a supportive environment.
After their impressive performance in Richmond, where the team secured one gold, one silver, and four bronze awards, the Dragon Spirit Tai Chi team is passionate about fostering wellness and connection through this ancient practice.
This is a unique opportunity for locals to enhance their physical and mental well-being while learning from seasoned practitioners. With classes available until August 31, residents are encouraged to come out and experience the benefits of Tai Chi firsthand.
Don’t miss out on this chance to be part of a community-focused initiative that promotes health and mindfulness. Grab your friends and family, and join the Dragon Spirit Tai Chi team this Sunday in City Park!
Stay tuned for more updates and share this exciting opportunity with others who may want to join!
