Nikki Bella Reveals Injury from Match: “Send Well Wishes to My Fake Boob”

WWE superstar Nikki Bella disclosed an unexpected injury during a recent match, revealing that her breast implant was dislocated after a high-impact move. The incident occurred during an eight-woman tag match on August 1, 2025, when fellow wrestler Piper Niven delivered an elbow drop that caused Bella significant discomfort.
During a recent episode of her podcast, The Nikki & Brie Show, co-hosted with her twin sister Brie Bella, Nikki recounted the match. She expressed her enjoyment of the fight, stating, “I was just like, ‘Oh my god, I’m having so much fun. I didn’t want the match to end,’” despite feeling pain. Following the match, Nikki sought medical attention, confirming her implant had shifted.
In a light-hearted exchange, Brie questioned Nikki about the condition of her implant, humorously suggesting it may have become lodged in her ribs. Nikki confirmed the situation, recounting her experience at the doctor’s office in New York City, reflecting, “I didn’t think I’d be here today, on my day off, getting my boobs looked at.”
The injury occurred when Niven executed a dramatic dive from the top rope, landing directly on Bella. The impact was so severe that Nikki was visibly pained and could be seen clutching her chest. Fans reacted with concern, sharing clips of the moment on social media.
Nikki later described the aftermath of the injury, saying, “It’s been hard to laugh and cough, but it’s OK. We’re going to get it fixed one day.” With a touch of humor, she added, “I told the doctor, ‘(I’m) newly divorced, so the minute the boots are hung up, I’m coming back to you and we’re going to make these girls look real good.’”
The twins continued to discuss the incident on their podcast, where Brie teased Nikki about the physical changes following the injury. Nikki reassured listeners that her appearance was not drastically different, comparing it to the natural asymmetry seen in breastfeeding.
Nikki’s implant became a topic of conversation during a live episode of their podcast recorded on the site of WWE SummerSlam. When asked about its condition, she remarked, “I don’t know yet if it exploded or not. It still seems intact. It’s swollen, it hurts, but I think it might be fine.”
In a final humorous remark, Nikki acknowledged the unusual nature of discussing such a personal issue publicly, stating, “I can’t believe I’m loudly talking about this, but hey, you know, it’s 2025. Send well wishes to my fake boob.”
Nikki Bella’s candid sharing of her experience highlights the unpredictability of professional wrestling, where physical injuries can occur unexpectedly amidst the entertainment. Her ability to maintain a sense of humor through adversity resonates with fans, illustrating the connection between athletes and their audience.
