Former actor Dean Cain, widely recognized for his role as Superman, has announced his intention to join the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency as soon as possible. The announcement came during his appearance on Fox News’ program hosted by Jesse Watters, where he expressed strong support for the agency’s mission and the goals of the current administration under President Donald Trump.

Cain, who has a history of supporting Trump, emphasized the urgency of addressing what he described as a “broken immigration system.” He stated, “Congress needs to fix it, but in the interim, President Trump ran on this. He is delivering on this. This is what people voted for.” Cain, 59, aims to contribute actively to immigration enforcement, stating that he wants to ensure the safety of all Americans.

In a recruitment video shared on social media, Cain urged citizens to consider joining ICE. He highlighted the benefits of a career with the agency, including competitive salaries and bonuses. “You can defend your homeland and get great benefits, like a $50,000 signing bonus,” he noted, adding that positions in field operations could offer even higher compensation.

Cain provided a detailed account of ICE’s activities since Trump’s presidency, claiming that the agency has arrested “hundreds of thousands of criminals, including terrorists, rapists, murderers, and gang members.” He declared, “ICE is arresting the worst of the worst and removing them from America’s streets.” His recruitment efforts align with a broader push by the Trump administration to bolster immigration enforcement through increased agency staffing.

The urgency of recruitment for ICE has gained significant traction recently. Reports indicate that more than 80,000 individuals have applied to join since the president launched a recruitment campaign. During the interview, Cain reflected on his qualifications, mentioning his background as a sworn deputy sheriff and reserve police officer. In addition to Cain’s remarks, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem emphasized the importance of recruitment during a recent interview. She noted that applicants can be as young as 18, stating, “We no longer have a cap on how old you can be. Sign up for ICE and join us.”
