Dolly Varden Silver Corporation has announced significant drilling results from the Homestake Silver deposit, revealing high-grade gold and silver mineralization. The latest drill hole, designated HR25-475, intersected an impressive grade of 14.50 g/t gold and 75 g/t silver over a length of 21.18 meters, including peaks of 113 g/t gold and 997 g/t silver over 0.68 meters. This drilling was part of an ongoing exploration effort to expand the known mineralized zones within the deposit.

Located in British Columbia, the drill hole is situated 42 meters north of a previous hole, HR24-448, and is positioned at the upper edge of a shallow, northward plunging high-grade trend. The broader mineralized zone surrounding HR25-475 demonstrates consistent high-grade intervals, with an overall average of 7.01 g/t gold and 35 g/t silver over a total length of 48.38 meters.

Shawn Khunkhun, President and CEO of Dolly Varden, expressed optimism about the results, stating, “The expansion of the wide, high-grade gold and silver mineralization in the Homestake Silver Deposit continues to demonstrate the continuity and robustness of the potentially bulk underground minable zone.” The company intends to publish further results from its 2025 exploration program as they become available.

The drilling campaign for 2025 has involved a total of 56,131 meters across 86 drill holes, with approximately 40% focused on step-out and infill drilling at the Homestake Silver deposit. This strategic approach includes the use of directional drilling technology, allowing for precise targeting of mineralized zones. The results from HR25-475 underscore the potential for significant gold resources in this area.

The Homestake Silver deposit is characterized as a structurally controlled, multi-phase epithermal vein system hosted in Jurassic Hazelton volcanic rocks. Mineralization is primarily comprised of pyrite, galena, and sphalerite, with visible gold found within a silica breccia matrix. Recent drilling has indicated a shift towards a gold-rich system, particularly to the north, where the deposit remains open for further exploration.

Dolly Varden Silver Corporation continues to focus on the Kitsault Valley Project, which includes both the Dolly Varden and Homestake Ridge projects. This region is recognized for its historical significance, containing five past-producing high-grade silver mines and offering potential for further precious metal discoveries.

Quality assurance and quality control measures are critical to Dolly Varden’s exploration activities. The company follows the CIM Best Practices Guidelines, ensuring that all sample streams are rigorously tested and verified. Analytical testing is conducted by ALS Canada Ltd., utilizing advanced techniques to ensure accuracy in mineral resource estimation.

Rob van Egmond, P.Geo., Vice-President of Exploration for Dolly Varden, is responsible for overseeing the technical information disclosed in this report. He emphasized the importance of ongoing exploration in understanding the full extent of the mineralization at Homestake Silver.

As Dolly Varden Silver advances its exploration efforts, stakeholders will be closely monitoring the outcomes of subsequent drilling programs. The company remains committed to uncovering the full potential of its mineral assets while adhering to high standards of environmental stewardship and community engagement.
