On September 7, 2023, the Josiah Kicks Academy will host a fundraising summer fair aimed at supporting local taekwondo athletes who will represent British Columbia at the ITF Taekwondo World Championships. Community Appreciation Day in Steveston

The Steveston Community Society is organizing a Community Appreciation Day on September 7, 2023, to celebrate the existing community centre and library before its scheduled closure in December. This event will take place from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Steveston Community Centre and Library, located at 4111 Moncton St.

Activities will include free face painting, family storytime sessions with the library, arts and crafts, and a variety of entertainment options suitable for all ages. The day aims to foster community spirit and encourage residents to engage with local resources.
