Downers Grove District 58 Hosts Oktoberfest Fundraiser on Sept. 12-13

The Education Foundation of Downers Grove District 58 is set to host its 12th annual Oktoberfest on September 12 and 13, 2023. This popular event will take place in the parking lot on Burlington Avenue, located between Main Street and Forest Avenue. The festivities will begin at 4:30 p.m. on September 12 and continue until 11 p.m. On September 13, the festival will open at 11 a.m. and conclude at 11 p.m.

The Oktoberfest promises an exciting lineup, featuring live music, a dedicated Kids Zone, and a variety of authentic German cuisine. Attendees can look forward to a vibrant traditional atmosphere that celebrates the spirit of Oktoberfest. On Friday night, music enthusiasts can enjoy a performance by the renowned Gypsy Kings, featuring lead vocalist Nicolas Reyes.
