Four Saskatchewan Students Set for Magical Disneyland Adventure

Four students from École Elsie Mironuck School in Regina, Saskatchewan, are set to experience a dream come true with an upcoming trip to Disneyland in California. This extraordinary opportunity is made possible through the charitable organization Dreams Take Flight, which aims to create memorable experiences for children facing challenges.
The students, selected for their resilience and spirit, will embark on this life-changing journey on September 30, 2023. Each year, Dreams Take Flight organizes these trips for deserving youth, providing them a chance to explore the magic of Disneyland and experience joy outside their daily lives.
Dreams Take Flight works with various communities across Canada, ensuring that children from different backgrounds have the chance to create lasting memories. This initiative is particularly impactful in Saskatchewan, where local volunteers contribute their time and resources to make these trips possible.
In a statement, a representative from Dreams Take Flight expressed their commitment to uplifting children. “Our mission is to provide children with a day of joy and adventure, allowing them to escape their challenges, even if just for a moment,” they noted.
The students selected for this year’s trip are enthusiastic about their upcoming adventure. Many have expressed excitement about meeting beloved Disney characters and experiencing the park’s famous rides. This trip not only represents a fun outing but also serves as a reminder of the resilience and strength that these young individuals embody.
As the date approaches, the students are preparing for their journey with a mix of anticipation and joy. For many, this trip may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and the support from Dreams Take Flight will make it all the more special.
