Grant Park Schools Invites Professionals for Career Fair on Feb. 13
Grant Park Schools is set to host a Career Exploration Fair on February 13, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Grant Park High School, located at 421 Esson Farm Rd., Grant Park, Illinois. The event aims to connect students with professionals from various fields, providing them an opportunity to gain insights into different career paths.
Professionals interested in participating are invited to engage in informal discussions with students. Rather than delivering formal presentations, attendees will be stationed at tables where they can converse with students in one-on-one or small group settings. This format encourages a relaxed atmosphere where students can ask questions about the professionals’ career journeys, educational backgrounds, daily responsibilities, and receive valuable advice.
Exhibitors are welcome to showcase tools, materials, and visuals relevant to their work, allowing them to inspire students and broaden their understanding of potential career opportunities.
For those wishing to participate, additional information can be obtained by contacting Nicole Barrios at (815) 465-3013 or via email at [email protected]. Interested individuals can also register through the online form available at [this link](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSch0-kpqcE5VdeMefr9SPP7Yp7iNxbwqWhB9EXWArpQERQykA/viewform).
The Career Exploration Fair presents an excellent opportunity for students to explore various professions, paving the way for future career decisions. By engaging directly with industry professionals, students can gain firsthand knowledge and insights that will be beneficial as they navigate their educational and career paths.
