The Putnam County Public Library District is set to host a winter art program titled “Frosty Friends: Art and Storytime” at its Granville branch on Saturday at 10 a.m.. This engaging event is designed for children between the ages of 3 and 10, providing a creative opportunity for young participants to explore winter-themed stories and art.

Led by staff from Child Care Connection, the program will feature storytelling sessions followed by hands-on art activities. Children will create unique snowman art utilizing scratch-art materials, allowing them to express their creativity while celebrating the winter season.

In addition to the art activities, representatives from Child Care Connection will be present to assist parents in applying for the Child Care Assistance Program. They will also answer any questions regarding available resources, providing valuable support to families in attendance.

The Granville branch of the Putnam County Public Library is located at 214 S. McCoy St.. Parents interested in more information about the event can contact the library at 815-339-2038. This program not only offers a fun-filled morning for children but also serves as a resource for parents seeking assistance with child care options.

The event promises to be an enriching experience for both children and their families, blending creativity, learning, and community support.
