Oglesby Public Library Launches Annual Book Sale Event
The Oglesby Public Library District is set to host its annual book sale from October 18 to October 25, 2023. This week-long event offers the community an opportunity to browse a diverse selection of books, DVDs, puzzles, and comic books. Sales will be conducted on a cash-only basis, allowing visitors to purchase items directly to support the library.
Proceeds from this event play a crucial role in sustaining library operations and enhancing services for the community. The library appreciates the ongoing support from local residents and encourages further contributions. Donations of books and other materials are still being accepted, helping to enrich the inventory available during the sale.
Event Details and Library Operations
The Oglesby Public Library is located at 111 S. Woodland Ave., Oglesby, Illinois. It operates during the week from Monday to Thursday, open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This schedule allows ample time for community members to visit, explore the offerings, and make purchases at their convenience.
The annual book sale serves not only as a fundraiser but also as a way to foster community engagement and promote reading among residents. The library invites everyone to participate in this exciting event and take advantage of the variety of materials available for purchase.
