This free service allows patrons to consult with tech experts, bringing their devices for a more tailored experience.

Creative individuals can take advantage of the “Crafts to Go” program offering free diamond painting kits on Saturday, September 6. These take-home craft kits will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Another community-focused event, “New Life for Old Bags,” is scheduled for Saturday, September 13, from 10:30 to 12:00. Participants can help transform plastic bags into sleeping mats for those experiencing homelessness. State Senator Sue Rezin will hold traveling office hours at the library on Tuesday, September 16, from 12:30 to 14:00. This session enables constituents to discuss issues related to state or government agencies. No registration is required.

For creative enthusiasts, the Card Making Class, focusing on Happy Birthday cards, will take place on the same day from 18:30 to 20:00. Attendees will create five handmade cards under the guidance of instructor Jennifer Boring. A fee of $5 must be paid upon registration.

Book lovers can join the Book Club on Wednesday, September 17, from 15:30 to 16:30, where they will discuss “The Lie Maker” by Linwood Barclay. The group will read a variety of genres, with the next selection being “The Girl on the Train” by Rachel Hawkins. New members are welcome at any time.

The month concludes with the “Knit and Crochet Group,” meeting every Monday from 16:00 to 18:00, led by crochet artist Karen Perez. This informal gathering is open to all ages, with limited supplies available.

Children’s Programs

The library also offers various programs tailored for children. “Pizza & Pages” for grades 4 to 6 will take place on Tuesday, September 9, with sessions at 17:00 and 18:30. Participants will read a book together and enjoy pizza. Registration is required.

Another exciting offering is “Create Art with Petite Palette,” scheduled for Thursday, September 11.
