Prince Albert Science Centre Hosts Slime Lab Ahead of Halloween
In anticipation of Halloween, the Prince Albert Science Centre is launching a series of interactive slime-making workshops designed to entertain families. On October 18, 19, 25, and 26, children and parents can participate in the slime lab from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. for a fee of $10 per container. This engaging activity not only allows participants to create their own slime but also provides a platform for creativity through decoration.
The slime lab initiative aims to blend fun and science, offering a unique hands-on experience that promises to be both educational and enjoyable. Sandra Williams, Chair of the Prince Albert Science Centre, highlighted the importance of such activities in fostering a love for science among young people. “It’s a great way to get kids involved in science and have fun at the same time,” she stated during a recent interview with paNOW reporter Nigel Maxwell.
Families looking for a festive activity this Halloween are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity. The slime lab not only serves as a creative outlet but also allows children to explore the properties of slime, linking the activity to scientific principles in an engaging manner. Participants will have the chance to experiment with different colors and textures, making each creation unique.
As Halloween approaches, the Prince Albert Science Centre’s slime lab is positioned to become a popular destination for families in the area. With a focus on interactive learning, this event promises to provide both entertainment and educational value, making it a must-visit for those looking to celebrate the spooky season in a fun and creative way.
