Prince Albert Science Centre Hosts Slime Lab for Halloween Fun
The Prince Albert Science Centre is gearing up for Halloween with an engaging slime lab, offering families a chance to create their own gooey concoctions. On October 18, 19, 25, and 26, visitors can participate from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., with each container of slime available for $10. This interactive event promises to be both entertaining and educational for children and parents alike.
During the slime lab, participants will have the opportunity to make and decorate their slime, bringing a creative touch to the season. The initiative is designed to encourage hands-on learning and experimentation, making science accessible and enjoyable. Sandra Williams, Chair of the Prince Albert Science Centre, emphasized the importance of such events in fostering curiosity among young learners.
In an interview, paNOW reporter Nigel Maxwell experienced the slime-making process firsthand, highlighting the excitement and enthusiasm from attendees. The event aims not only to provide fun but also to promote scientific exploration in a playful environment.
Families looking for a unique and festive way to celebrate Halloween can look forward to this slime lab. It combines creativity with science, making it a perfect outing for children during the holiday season. The low cost of $10 per container makes it accessible for many, encouraging participation from the community.
As Halloween approaches, the Prince Albert Science Centre continues to play an essential role in engaging the public with science through enjoyable and interactive events. The slime lab is just one of the many ways the centre connects with families, promoting not only learning but also community involvement.
