A second-grade student from Uplands Montessori Elementary School, Myrea, has captured the holiday spirit in a heartfelt letter addressed to Santa Claus. In her message, she expresses gratitude for last year’s presents and shares recent accomplishments that reflect her growing talents.

On November 23, Myrea participated in Canada Music Week, performing the piece “Whale’s Lament.” The young pianist felt a sense of pride in her performance, showcasing her dedication to music. Just a week later, on November 30, she spread festive cheer by playing Christmas carols for elderly residents in her community. This thoughtful gesture highlights her commitment to bringing joy to others during the holiday season.

In addition to her musical endeavors, Myrea took part in the Cloverdale Figure Skating Santa Parade, further embracing the festive atmosphere that defines this time of year. Her letter concludes with a charming plan to leave out cookies and milk for Santa, as well as carrots for his reindeer, reinforcing the spirit of giving and tradition associated with Christmas.

Myrea’s enthusiasm and kindness serve as a reminder of the joy and warmth that the holiday season can bring, inspiring others to share in the festive spirit. As she prepares for Christmas, her heartfelt message to Santa reflects the hopes and dreams of young children everywhere.
