Canada’s Only Moving Haunted House Returns for Spooky Season

Canada’s only moving haunted house, the Train of Terror, is set to return for the Halloween season at Aspen Crossing, located just southeast of Calgary. This unique attraction promises an immersive experience for thrill-seekers, featuring a series of spooky mazes and a chilling train ride that lasts for 90 minutes.
Guests can expect to navigate through three distinct mazes, each designed to deliver unexpected scares and surprises. After braving the mazes, participants will board the Train of Terror, where they can enjoy a beverage while the train winds through eerie landscapes. The experience includes a maze on the train itself, further enhancing the haunting atmosphere.
Once the haunting journey concludes, attendees will be welcomed to a lively Halloween party. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, providing a festive conclusion to an adrenaline-filled evening.
According to Aspen Crossing, “This event is not your run-of-the-mill haunted house; our performers are allowed to touch, grab, follow, and perhaps even take you through any part of the experience. This is not for the faint of heart and is intended for an 18+ audience.”
For those seeking additional Halloween festivities, Screamfest will also return to Calgary this year, offering even more options for seasonal entertainment.
Event Details
The Train of Terror will operate on the following dates: October 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25, 31, and November 1. Two sessions will take place each evening at 18:30 and 20:30.
Tickets vary in price depending on the date and time selected. For those interested, it is advisable to secure tickets in advance, given the popularity of this unique Halloween attraction.
Whether you are a fan of haunted houses or just looking for a thrilling night out, the Train of Terror at Aspen Crossing offers a spine-chilling experience that promises to leave a lasting impression.
