Greater Victoria Police Chorus to Perform Festive Celtic Concert
The Greater Victoria Police Chorus is preparing to enchant audiences with a festive concert featuring a unique Celtic twist. This performance is scheduled for December 14, 2024, at the Salvation Army Citadel, located at 4030 Douglas Street in Saanich. The concert will begin at 14:30 and promises a delightful experience for attendees of all ages.
Founded in the 1980s, the chorus comprises officers from the Greater Victoria area, as well as retired police personnel and civilians from around the world. Over the years, the group has become a beloved fixture in the community, regularly invited to perform across Greater Victoria and even in Europe. This year’s Christmas program will feature special guests, including Kate Rhodes on fiddle and Konnor Russell showcasing traditional Irish drumming with the Bodhran. Additionally, a new children’s chorus will join the performance, enhancing the festive atmosphere.
