Grizzli Winery Hosts Outdoor Cinema Series for Charity

Grizzli Winery in West Kelowna is set to launch its Outdoor Cinema Series with a charity screening of the beloved family film, Mrs. Doubtfire, on September 5, 2023. This community-focused event aims to combine entertainment with a meaningful cause, supporting the BGC Okanagan Families and Community Together (FACT) Program.
The winery invites attendees to enjoy an evening filled with activities and camaraderie, all while raising funds for a local initiative that directly benefits families in the region. Tickets for this event are priced at $10 if purchased in advance, with proceeds going to support the FACT Program’s valuable work.
Activities will kick off at 6:30 p.m. on the evening of the screening. Families can partake in various pre-show events tailored for children, including face painting, lawn games, and coloring stations. Meanwhile, adults can unwind with a selection of estate-grown wines from the outdoor bar, as well as beer, cider, and other refreshments available for purchase.
The concession stand will feature classic movie snacks, such as popcorn, pretzels, and chips. The screening of Mrs. Doubtfire is scheduled to begin at approximately 8:00 p.m., allowing guests to settle in with their favorite treats.
Tickets are available for $10 online in advance and will cost $15 at the door. While walk-ins are welcome, attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets for comfort. Due to limited seating, early purchase is recommended to secure a spot at this community gathering.
Grizzli Winery’s initiative reflects a growing trend among local businesses to engage with community causes while providing enjoyable experiences. With its combination of film, family-friendly activities, and charitable support, the Outdoor Cinema Series promises to be a memorable event for West Kelowna residents and visitors alike.
